A design made for the Salle d’Honneur in an official building in Belgium. This picturesque and curious design is somewhat imaginary, with a boat containing a dog and a eagle, and a tree in the background, where swans appear to be escaping from the scene. The design may have been attributed to the Belgian architect Horta, but is not conformed by the experts. What makes the fabric interesting is the texture and the effect produced but the metallic yarn and the density brought by the linen and the jaspé effect reproduced exactly from the original which was given to us.
